Who we are

Greening the North-East, with communities.

Cagaarinta Woqooyi Bari means "Greening the North-East." We are a Somali-led, community-rooted organization responding to drought, land degradation, water scarcity and waste: the environmental pressures that most affect daily life in Bari, Nugaal and northern Mudug.

We work with communities, not for them.
